Hey, I’m Rasheid -

I’m an American technology and hospitality entrepreneur, known for blending the warmth of guest experience with the precision of secure systems. Some folks know me as Karl — either way, I lead with heart.

I'm the founder and CEO of Great Dwellings, a tech-enabled short-term rental company operating in three countries, and NetAesthetics, an IT consultancy delivering mission-critical infrastructure for government and enterprise clients.

My Philosophy:
“Do everything with love.”
That’s not just a motto — it’s how I build businesses, empower teams, and design solutions that scale without losing their humanity.

Working at the Intersection of Hospitality and Technology

My Journey:
This all started with a vision to elevate short-term rentals through human-first design and operational excellence. That’s what drives Great Dwellings. With NetAesthetics, I’ve helped make secure IT infrastructure feel not just resilient, but intuitive and impactful. In both ventures, the goal is the same: use technology to serve people — not the other way around.

My Approach:
What energizes me most is sharing the stories that live at the intersection of hospitality and technology. Whether it’s emerging trends in public safety communications or the evolution of tech-powered guest experiences, I speak from lived experience — as a founder, technologist, board member, and mentor.

...

Let's Connect:
If you're curious about the future of hospitality, the power of human-centered technology, or what it takes to build meaningful systems in complex spaces, I’d love to connect.
Whether you're building something bold or just exploring a better way — I’m here for conversations that spark clarity, courage, and action.

A Personal Note:
I didn’t start with a silver spoon. My bedroom doubled as a church Sunday school room and remember the feeling of relying on a chow line for meals. My first entrepreneurial inspiration wasn’t a CEO — it was my mother, who turned creativity into survival. That experience drives everything I do today.
